Did Obi-Wan know Anakin and Padme were together?

There is no right answer to the question. In my opinion, I think Obi-Wan knew to an extent but he didn't know everything. Yes, Obi-Wan knew they were together. He and Anakin were incredibly close for years. They fought together, lived together, they were truly in-sync, and Obi-Wan basically raised Anakin. Not to mention they were Jedi who could sense each other's feelings and emotions. Anakin was never really good at hiding his emotions. read more

The way Anakin spoke about Padme so longingly, and all the time they were spending together must have been a dead give away. I think when he visits her in Revenge of the Sith was the moment when it all became real for him. read more

From LoE and other EU resources, we can glean a lot of inferences and statements that indicate that Obi-Wan does, in fact, know that Padme and Anakin are married. Unfortunately, these references never made it into the canon of the movies and thus remain of dubious credibility. read more
