Finally, Tacitus mentions in his Germania that human sacrifice was practiced. Obviously these people weren't Vikings, but they were Germanic and did practice a sort of proto-norse mythology. It seems reasonable that the practice of human sacrifice could feasibly be practiced by the Vikings. read more
