They do exist, I saw one today (17 February 2016, 12:05 until 12:40) in the middle of the Atacama desert at 2600 meters above sea level. A quick search on the internet learned me that circular rainbows seen from the ground are really rare. At the end a partial double rainbow showed up for a while. Enjoy. read more

Usually when we see rainbows, we're looking at them from the ground or fairly close to it. Of course, rainbows as we perceive them don't actually exist in a physical form. read more
