Out in the suburbs of northeast Ohio, my folks' tap water is water-softened well water. They buy big bags of salt every month or so and feed it to the machine in the basement. In America, People don't drink water much and they take lots of fluids in form of juice, beer, coke, Dr.Pepper etc.. So, when it comes to water its easy to have when it is readily available in bottles. You open drink and crush , thats it. I don't know anyone who buys bottled water for personal, daily consumption. If there is ever an event in a park, a party at my house or there are people helping me do things, then yes I buy bottled water due to the convenience.
