Consequently they come down hard on any artist who comes out supporting music piracy. I've heard people say (but I can't confirm) that labels now have clauses in artists' contracts that forbids them from publicly supporting piracy. I'm sure more artists would love to say they support piracy. read more

Piracy is illegal, so, no. Digital piracy rips off of music and other forms of art. Plus, it might be lesser in quality. I do not support it, due to the wins for the pirate. read more
