All hounds smell, some worse than others. It’s from the oils on their skin. I’ve heard Bloodhounds smell worse than most, but I know someone who owned Bassets & she says they run a close second, especially because they’re so close to the ground & pick up all kinds of odors & dirt on their stomachs. Bathing is the only way to remove the odor. read more
