Beavers will dam flowing water to create a pond for them to live in. A beaver will gnaw on trees to cut them down to build their dam, lodge and to eat. In a natural environment you won't really notice much but if it is a cultivated garden or park you certainly will. A beaver going in and out of a pond won't ruin the bank. read more
