Black holes do not exist-at least, not as we know them, Stephen Hawking says. They may also not have "event horizons" beyond which there is no return. Black holes do not exist-at least, not as we know them, Stephen Hawking says. read more
So technically the claim is either these things are black holes, or they are objects that mimic black holes by violating known physics. Of course that could be said about anything. Either electrons exist, or they are objects that mimic electrons through unknown physics. read more
Scientists now believe that some galaxies have huge black holes in their centers. These black holes release huge amounts of energy that powers the active events that go on within the galaxy. The fuel for the black hole, scientists believe, may be the trapped gas, stars, and dust that are pulled into the hole. Gas that is pulled into a black hole swirls down into the hole much like a whirlpool. read more
Black Holes do not exist as per the accepted model. There is an alternative that has the BH as a source of matter, not a sink. Intergalactic flux tubes exist in space, and when one of these becomes 'pinched', a Z-pinch, then a vacuum spark, or arc occurs, a constant lightning event. read more
