Do blind people feel claustrophobic?

My husband is blind but he wasn't always blind. When you have been able to see the openness of the sky, the vastness of the oceans, lakes, fields and meadows not to mention seeing as far as you can see from a mountain top to then go blind is like having your world sealed off. read more

In my honest opinion, I don't think blind people suffer claustrophobia. And yes, claustrophobia is indeed a psychological disorder. read more

I feel claustrophobic when there are people around me and i just want to crawl into a corner and disappear. I don't even like to have people at my house just so I don't have to see anybody or talk to people thus I don't entertain or encourage people to visit. read more
