Do cops get free donuts?

I know of many establishments that provide free coffee to police officers, and sometimes other items too (notwithstanding that officers are officially not permitted to accept any freebie or discount). But the crew would show up at the donut shop in the middle of the night to make the donuts for the next day, and they would give or sell the police officers donuts, either fresh or the leftovers from the night before. read more
