My neighbors have Cocker Spaniels. They shed more than my Scotties (but I am no't recommending a Scottie for you). Poodles tend to shed less than many dogs because rather than growing "fur" that sheds, the poodle grows "hair" that continues to grow, but will need to be cut. Poodles come in three sizes, but have high grooming needs. read more
