As a police officer, I can enforce ANY state law or local ordinance (federal agents cannot) I can patrol the general public, look for suspicious activity and stop people I am suspicious of (federal agents cannot). read more

The local police will be primary. They will team with the FBI, who may or may not take lead, but due to the money stolen the USSS will be used to track the money. The FBI will be the lead federal agency, with USSS as assisting, along with maybe the ATF and others like the DEA and US Marshals. read more
