Do Germans get tired of WWII movies?

In my opinion, it's not annoying for Nazis to be depicted as bad guys in WWII movies - a WWII movie from a Nazi point of view would be a lot more disturbing. What I do find annoying is that villains or cruel people in non-WWII movies are often depicted as being German or having a German accent. read more

I think German do get tired of Hollywood-made Nazi movies. The recent movie"Fury" is another example. Hollywood doesn't hate Germans, it's just these types of movies sell (just like Mafia movies depicting Italians) and that's why they are being made. Hollywood doesn't care if it hurts feelings of others as long as the money keeps coming in. read more
