There are nighthawks who, obviously, hunt at night. Generally, common hawks like Red Tails or accipiters do not fly or hunt at night. Most hawk attacks happen in early morning or in the afternoon. read more
hawks are diurnal hunters. They do use the low light hours of morning and evening to hunt as the prey that hawks target are more active at those times but owls primarily are the only raptor that hunts at night. read more
