I'm from New Jersey, and New Jersey is a wonderful state in many ways. It is mostly suburb, which means it is mostly like ALL OTHER STATES. However, there are also many rural and scenic areas of New Jersey, tons of shoreline, and lots of state parks. read more

New Yorkers hate the bridge and tunnel crowd (people coming in from the tri-state area who don't live in the city) New Jerey residents hate the New Yorkers who flock to the shore every summer. Florida, New Jersey and Texas are ones that spring immediately to mind, so it kind of makes sense that a TV show would jump on the chance for easy laughs off that combo joke: neighbours hate each other and New Jersey is the 'armpit of America'. read more
