Do NITs have western toilets?

I am Student of NIT Kurukshetra. In first year, we didn't have. From second year onwards, we were shifted to new hostels. These hostels have three toilets, one of them is western. P. read more

They do have! In our newly made hostels, out of every 4 toilets, 1 is western. If you are not a " workout guy", then i will suggest you to use Indian toilets as you can have a good squatting position while sitting in the Indian style. read more

You are supposed to sit there like a chair. That is why your doctor/others want you to use the western one, because you don't have to squat. Your weight is given to the bowl part. Other than the way you sit, the only difference is how you clean yourself after you do your thing. Toilet papers. You will be grateful to them in the winter. read more
