Do nurses make a lot of money?

It really does entirely depend on the interpretation of ‘a lot of money’. For example, I am a Senior Nurse in one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the UK - I am frequently running the department - in charge of 40+ staff and up to 150 patients at any one time. read more

Nurses that come to foreign countries such as the us and uk are known to make a lot of money. However, they are not given a high status and even considered "cheap" because it's like a dirty job in most nursing homes and hospitals in foreign countries. read more
