I understand it's sold dried in China and other parts of Asia, and used as a tea, or soup - in my career I've seen some otherwise “weird” ingredients; I regularly use dried shrimp and squid - I've never seen or tasted seahorse though. read more
Unfortunately seahorses are edible, and as regarded as a delicacy in China, Japan and other Asian countries. The demand has put great risk of extinction on these timid creatures. read more
