Many poor countries have a nice climate, and that's about the dreamiest sort of escape that people from rich countries can afford. We could wonder why they don't permanently move there, buy a house and work remotely. Perhaps, one day, all the richest people will move to those poor countries and ship the poor to the cold and gray areas of the globe. read more

My rich friends go to the Hamptons, Martha's Vineyard, Tuscany, Italy, cruises around Greece / Mediterranean Sea, (charter cruises are very popular amongst the rich), etc., etc., etc. These people aren't hip and these aren't hip places to go. read more
