Professional touring pro's (on the PGA tour etc.) do not pay to play anywhere. Which I've always found funny, because when you're struggling to become a pro golfer and you need all that free stuff, you don't get it, but as soon as you become a pro golfer and don't need it, its free. read more

Keep in mind, PGA Tour players don’t have to pay to play golf. A lot of them do belong to private clubs where they live so they can practice on their off weeks, but it’s not uncommon for a club to waive the initiation fee for Tour players and just have them pay the monthly dues. read more
