Do Rottweilers ever attack their owners or family?

No. They do not"Turn" on their owners. However, make sure you stay away from Guard lines if you just want a family pet. Just so it can be easily managed with visitors. See the pups and tell the breeder you do not want a pup with a dominant personality. A good breeder watches their pups and knows each pups individual personality. read more

both Dobermans and Rottweilers can be destructive and no fun if you do not have the time for them as can any dog but the size means more destroying can be done. Any dog raised well with clear boundaries as to where they stand in the family will be a good family dog. read more
