Do school shootings discourage bullying?

I do not believe so. School shooting is an extreme form of bullying, if you think about it. Parents who properly raise their children, schools who create rapid response to bullying situations and educate their students about bullying discourage bullying, if you ask me. read more

What we need to do -- what we must do -- is educate kids and teens about bullying, and teach them empathy and coping skills. This begins at home and must be continued in school.
