Sikhism totally rejects the idea of a caste system. The person who says that caste system exists in Sikhism (and that castes are equal), is as wrong as anyone can get. There is a reason as to why, as Sikhs, you should drop your surname, and use 'Singh' as a male, and 'Kaur' as a female. read more
