I have kept and rescued pythons and boas, ribbons/garters, rat/fox snakes, milk snakes, but have never known a snake to take cooked meat. read more

Snakes are wild creatures and do not have access to cooked meat in the wild! Captive snakes may out of necessity consume frozen animals which are thawed, but I don’t think they can stomach cooked meat. Many people do recommend about serving their pet snakes live prey though some may not have the heart to do so and choose to feed them frozen and thawed meats instead. read more

Snakes normally eat uncooked meat. Snakes natural prey would be live, until attacked by a snake for food purposes, then the animal that is dead is therefore not cooked. Snakes would therefore not normally eat cooked meat, as snakes obtain valuable fluids from their prey, which reduces greatly the need for snakes to seek other form of liquids to keep them hydrated. read more

Most snakes will not take something like that especially if it's cooked. They cannot process cooked protein as it changed the composition of the meat. Most likely they'd regurgitate it later when they can't digest it. I'm hoping that you will not experiment on the poor snake at any time. read more
