If my height genes are Tt (tall-short) and my wife is tt (short-short), the results are a little different. My children would have a 50% chance of being tall and a 50% change of being short. However, if 100 very tall people marry 100 very short people, and they have 200 kids, those kids will average a little taller than the average of the two parents (because height is increasing over the generations). Of course, on average, the boys will be taller than the girls. read more
