Most Israelites are from light brown to medium brown, not dark brown like I—aka black. So saying Black Israelites is inaccurate. Next, all Hebrews except those from the 9 of the 12 tribes of Israel lineage & the Edomite lineage were dark brown. So “Black Hebrew” is oxymoronic. Yes we celebrate holidays. Short answer: Yes members of the movement, Black Hebrew Israelite, do adhere to Christian and Jewish belief and customs. However, some believe that Christmas was not the day Christ was born on, that the idea of Dec. 25 came from Babylonian tradition and polytheis. read more
