Being extraordinarily adaptive opportunist survivors, coyotes indeed will eat domestic cats and small dogs, as well as a wide range of rodents and other smaller wild animals. Someone I knew in Arizona had her small dog out on a leash and a coyote came running and grabbed the dog in its mouth and just kept on going. read more
