We won't be able to stop global warming completely. Some amount of warming has already occurred, and even more is expected to occur in the near future. We will, however, be able to slow it down, possibly soon enough to avoid the worst effects of climate change. read more
If we really wanted to stop "global warming" then there is a way that would be much simpler, easier to control and cost much less. Reflective mylar sheets placed in orbit between the Sun and the Earth would do the job quite well. read more
