Yes, very much in fact. For me the interesting thing is that oysters on the half shell occupy their own unique culinary space. At last I can not imagine anything quite like them (OK raw mussels are close) - unique mouthfeel, unique flavor, ‘textured seawater & fish’. Maybe a squirt of lemon and a twist of black pepper. read more
