Firefox is slightly less resource hungry than chrome with same 10 tabs opened as per my experiment, specially when you close and re-launch. Chrome is faster and has better developer options, but firefox has almost caught up with the new release. read more

I prefer Firefox sync to Chrome sync because it is locally encrypted. I do keep Chrome or Chromium around because I have Pentadactyl set up to hide all the standard UI toolbars and I need something to tell guests on my computers to use when they want to open a browser on my computer. read more
