Forensic pychologist do not usually attend crime scenes as part of their role, this is for police detectives, SIOs, and crime scene examiners etc (usually from a criminology degree). However forensic psychologists do have many other interesting responsibilities and there are various routes to becoming one. read more

There are rare instances where psychologists assist at a crime scene, Unlike the fictional portrayals, they do not lead the teams, direct the collection of evidence, or have (near mystical) epiphanies while “analyzing” a scene. read more
