Bing Maps is absolutely useless in China (you could say the same thing about the Search Engine itself). I found when I was recently in China that Google Earth would often (though not always) work for me without a VPN, and sometimes Google Maps would as well, if I loaded the site directly and didn't try and do any searches. read more
