Well, there are Garda Intelligence Units and Military Intelligence units. That's about it as far as anyone knows. Yes of course Ireland has a secret service. The northern bit has had lots I would add. But the republic of Ireland is unique in amongst European democracies in that he has no accountable named head of intelligence who presents regularly to the Oireachtas. read more
