Does living in Toronto feel more like Chicago or New York?

I am a native New Yorker. I lived I Chicago for two years. I love Chicago. It does not feel like New York City. It is less ethnically diverse-- a lot of blond haired blue eyed people wherever you go. Chicago is less dense. The business district is much smaller. There is a much smaller mass transit system. There is less traffic congestion. read more

In reality, Toronto is more like somewhere between Chicago and Philadelphia, than resembling NYC. NYC is its own league on this continent. It is larger than the sum of Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and a bunch of mid sized Canadians cities. read more
