Losing my hearing on one side (surgically) did improve other senses. I have also observed this in others. One example was a blind elderly lady able to locate three mosquito bites on a plaster cast of the hand of Abe Lincoln. I own the cast and those bites are not visible, but she found them with her finger tips. read more
