Does Marvel or DC have more characteristics in characters?

It's really hard to answer that question. Marvel started as Timely comics and DC was known as National. Early in their respective publications they merged with a minor magazine and became Marvel. Other companies came and some fell or were saved by the two Juggernauts. read more

Obviously DC has more characters than MARVEL. I concluded to the fact because superhero comics did not started like DC or MARVEL, it was like many small publications were making their comics and comic characters. But suddenly one big publication purchased most of the comics and their characters and that was DC or detective comics. read more
