Does Radio waves behave like visible light waves in space?

Best Answers

Photons have a wave-like nature that is evident as they traverse space. That wave has charactericstics like period, frequency, phase velocity, crests and troughs. Waves can interact constructively or destructively. But the wave fuction itself is not electromagnetic as far as I know. read more

Given the fact that both travel at the speed of light and are the spatial propagation of perpendicular electric and magnetic fields, then yes radio waves do behave like visible light. But because of its higher frequency, visible light photons possess more energy than radio wave photons. read more

Rank the following list of waves from shortest to longest wavelength: radio, visible light, gamma, UV, infrared. ok (Infrared radiation is just outside the visible light spectrum and can be detected only by their source of heat. read more
