Shaving does not cause faster or thicker hair growth. It is just that the cut end is thicker than the finer tip, and this gives a perception of thicker regrowth. I definitely recommend shaving over waxing, because it is possible to remove hair along the direction of hair growth with shaving - with waxing, the hair has to be pulled against the direction of hair growth. read more
