Every place in Utah has many mormons but they are the majority at BYU. (Brigham Young University). BYU has modesty of rules that the average non Mormon would not consider adhering to so they choose a mainstream university. read more

While Utah Valley University is a public school, it is located near BYU and many of it's students are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
