Does Stonehenge have off-hour guards?

Stonehenge is closed at night. I'm not aware of security, although there is probably some. It's open at night at winter and summer solstice. Its main security is that it's miles from anywhere. read more

The guards all converged on one of the guys, he put his hands up like a prisoner of war and the guards just stood next to him. His mate made Stonehenge centre and a cheer went round the entire site. It was all good natured from beginning to end and looked like good fun. I decided later on that night that I'd do the same thing. read more
