Obviously, the numbers are not sequential. When you see a television show set at, say, the 99th Precinct, you can bet there is no actual 99th Precinct. There might be an exterior shot of an NYPD station house to establish where the following interior shots are supposed to be taking place, but that building exterior will likely be of some other NYPD precinct, if it’s a station house at all. read more
