I doubt that Uggs people are out in the fields clubbing sheep and peeling their skins off :) To state that sheep get killed to make ugly boots is a slight exaggeration; their lives are taken for the meat and the skins are a byproduct butchers have no use for. read more

Sheepskin refers to a sheep's wool, not their actual skin. And the outside and bottom of the boots are synthetic. So there is a chance a sheep could be harmed in the process of obtaining its wool, but it is also just that: a small chance. read more
