Generally I found 12gm of brown rice shows lower blood glucose than Chapati from wheat flour or multi grain. In my experience, I found brown rice to be better than chapati. The brown rice is the Kerala Matta rice or Red rice. Brown Basmati is bit difficult to cook and shows slightly higher blood sugar reading than Kerala Red rice. read more
