If the person had sight once before, you simply describe things to them. If they have never had sight, it is impossible to describe what something looks like because they do not have a reference to draw from. Their brain has never had a chance to create visual memories. Best Answer: You don't need to explain sight to a blind person. Our whole world is so skewed toward the visual intake of information that any blind person / child picks up on this VERY early. All it takes is a peer group that includes several sighted or partially sighted kids. read more
