Anywhere. If you can locate mighty Orion to the South, one of the most famous Constellations, you can see this comet. Over the course of January 2015 it will move from Lepus, below Orion, up through Taurus and eventually into Aries. read more
Comet Lovejoy (officially named C/2014 Q2) was discovered by amateur astronomer Terry Lovejoy on August 17, 2014 from Australia using just an eight-inch telescope (in comparison, Canada’s largest telescope, located at the David Dunlap Observatory in Richmond Hill, Ontario, is 74 inches). read more
