Orange peels are very contaminated, due to pesticide liphopilicity (capacity to add to non polar compounds like fattys, waxes, etc.), most pesticides have that chemical property. For example if a grower have sprayed some chemical on your orange most of the chemical (almost 99%) and their residues are going to stay on the orange peel. read more
