Has the Mafia ever fought with the Yakuza or Triads?

As I understand it, these are not organized groups. There is a Russian mafia which operates all the way out in Vladivostok, and probably fights with a Triad in eastern China, but the American New York mafia probably hasn't ever gotten into it with anyone outside the states. One factor people haven't talked about is that not all Yakuza have five fingers. Sometimes one is cut off as a punishment or to make them rely on their boss more. High ranking Yakuza and Mafia members are going to be useless in this fight. Most of the high ranking Yakuza are basically businessmen who do illegal things. read more
