Get a suitable job eg in medical college, pharmaceutical industry etc as a medical doctor on a research team. Participate in collaborative research with a molecular biological basis. Such studies often need clinical input. read more
The chief medical officer (CMO) is generally in charge of the company's clinical research arm. While the chief scientific office (CSO) is generally in charge of the drug discovery and development, they generally don't have the clinical expertise to coordinate a clinical trial.
