Beyond that you can go to bigger tarantulas with longer fangs and “nastier” venom. So far we haven’t reliable accounts of any human’s being killed by tarantula venom. There was one report of a small child’s being killed by a very venomous species in China several years ago, but the report cannot be verified. read more
