How come when I try to flip a fidget spinner it doesn't flip?

I just got my first spinner a couple of days ago and I really like it. The problem I have though is that it doesn't spin very long. If I flick it really hard it spins for 15-20 seconds max. I have seen people here say that their spins for at least a full minute and some people even claim 7 minutes. read more
